BioLift™ - Exterior Cleaner works by desiccation (drying out) of not only the visible surface layer of organics but the spores that inhabit the microscopic spaces in the growing surface. (substrate).

How is this different to other methods?

Mould or other organics grow from spores deposited in microscopic niches until the outer visible surface appears (much like a lawn appearing from seed).

Chemical or waterblasting treatment can only treat or “burn off” the visible surface layer, leaving the spores safe to regenerate from below. Some level of residual inhibition can be caused by leaving a layer of toxic chemicals on the treated surface.

BioLift™ - Exterior Cleaner takes a different approach to their control – to attack them at the source – not just at the visible surface.

Using a plant derived penetrant (penetrating agent), a desiccant (drying agent) is carried into the tiny areas of the substrate (growing surface) that the mould inhabits and destroys them. The desiccating action draws the spores out of the microscopic niches (like salt draws up water) and destroys them on contact.

With no seed or spore base from which to re-grow, a significantly longer control period is achieved.
